DESIGNER SANGEET & WEDDING DRESSES STYLE
Wedding is one such occasion which gets the spark inside you, lit up bright because of the excitement it carries in it’s name itself. The wedding bells make a tingling sensation in our hearts because it’s such a big event not just for the bride and the groom but also for their families, friends and relatives.
Weddings in North India are celebrated at a pretty grand level which is why it is conducted with a three to four day event. These events includes inviting all the relative and friends which is why what you wear becomes the first and foremost issue for everyone.
It begins with haldi ceremony which involves applying haldi (turmeric) on both bride and groom. The next big event is Sangeet dress which involves a pre dancing and singing celebration with your family. This involves merry making with all your loved ones and this is usually celebrated by the bride’s family on the note of the girl leaving her parents soon.
The sangeet dresses need not to be extremely heavy, like the wedding day wear but it still requires heavy embellishments to keep that spark alive. Sangeet day can be styled by wearing anything, say a saree or an anarkali suit. The ideal wear for the bride would be Lehenga Choli obviously. Â Both poppy as well as pastels would work for this day. You can opt for whites and beige shades too if you are looking for something simple yet elegant. For the bride I would suggest to go for a long lehenga style skirt and a blouse, or a crop top in order to add the touch of modern silhouettes without disturbing the ethnic vibes of the occasion. Keep your mane open either straight or you could go for waves if you want it to be more dramatic. Further, grab some statement Kundan Earrings to keep the looking impeccable without distracting the attention from your outfit. A pair of heels and a potli bag would make the look complete. For the rest of the gatherings, you can pick any of the outfits which you think are comfortable and fashionable for you at the same time. A patiala suit would look elegant and not over the board if you want a garment which can be carried easily. Half hair updo and a pair of earrings can always help you make any outfit voguish. On the other hand you have an option of Anarkali Suits ( knee length, calf length recommended) if you’re sister or friend of the bride. Make sure to add a simple Maang Tika and some bangles for those slim wrists of yours. A sling bag would be perfect if you want to carry something along.
