WEDDING TRENDS: THE NEW SHADES IN INDIAN SAREE

1. THE PINK-WHITE DUO

Pink and white hues together represent sweetness, purity, and youthfulness. The combination looks adorable in traditional garments. You can combine it with a half-and-half style saree where the pallu can be white, and the rest of the portion can be pink. A pink blouse embellished with gota Patti work would raise the bar high. You can match that embroidery with chikankari work on the white pallu. Set the outfit together with golden jewelry and matte makeup.

2. THE SHADES OF TURQUOISE

Turquoise, the color of wisdom and hope, is also quite fashion-favored and admired. The shades of turquoise are very fascinating and soothing to look at. Pale turquoise, for instance, is a part of the pastel color palette, and we all know how much pastels are in trend. You can highlight the net pastel saree with protruding embroideries like appliqué work would really help in accentuating the outfit. You can cut out floral motifs of darker hues to sew them on your pale turquoise saree.

3. THE COMPOSITION OF DARK TONES

Dark shades have their own way of mesmerizing everyone around. They communicate confidence, mystery, and poise. It’s best to not put together two uncomplimentary dark shades as the outcome might look overdone. The best combinations out of dark palettes would be; magenta with black, navy blue with dark beige, deep red with bottle green, purple with maroon, and so on.

THE ELEGANCE OF WHITE

White is the beautiful amalgamation of peace, innocence, and purity. Fashion garments, it brings out refined elegance and sophistication. You can enhance the beauty of white sarees with vibrant embroideries such as Resham and patchwork. Other than that, if you want a contemporary touch, then go for silver sequins and pearls, as it will make the overall ensemble more regal.

THE JUXTAPOSITION OF CONTRASTING BLUES

The color blue communicates freedom, spaciousness, and inspiration. Contrasting shades of blue, when set together, can bring out a very lively effect on the eyes of the beholder. You can choose to go with a printed or embroidered lighter shade and pair it with the plain darker one for wedding-fit attire. A dainty touch of pigmented silk threads won’t hurt anybody either.
